What should we do before coming into lab, since theres no official Prelab 3?
There was no Prelab 3 this week, since the filter designs will require some real-time tweaking in lab, but you can maximize your efficiency in lab if you do at least a first-pass design for the audio filter and the TX and RX IF filters before you come in. Note that although the audio filters on both boards are identical, the TX and RX IF are different, since the RX filter must also provide the bulk of the gain for the receiver, while the TX only needs to filter the signal before it’s transmitted.
