What should the Letter of Direction (“LOD”) say?
There is no established format for the LOD. At a minimum, the letter should list the name and reference number of the Contested Share, the names and Registration/Confirmation numbers of the Competing Publishers, and clear instructions to the Administrator as to the name of the publisher/entity to whom the Contested Share should be paid, or as to how the share should be divided.
