What should the concentration of silvered water be?

0

Effect of silvered water depends on silver concentration, which is measured by milligrams in litre (mg/l). The higher is silver concentration the stronger is the effect. For example, water with 0,05 mg/l silver concentration would destroy microbes within 5 minutes, 0,2 mg/l concentration – within 2 minutes, and 1 mg/l concentration would start its activity immediately. The latter dose would kill intestine rods within 3 minutes, the dose of 0,5 mg/l – within 20 minutes. Silvered water of high concentration is used for lotions, wet compresses, disinfecting, etc. Concentration of silvered water for everyday use must not exceed 0,01-0,02 mg/l.
