USC follows the CDC and American College Health Associations recommendations regarding immunizations for college students. All incoming students are required to have two Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccinations and the Menectra meningitis vaccine. Currently MMR vaccine is $55.00 and Menectra is $100.00. Prices are subject to change. Students should (but are not required to) have a recent Diphtheria Tetanus booster, three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine, and immunity to Varicella (chicken pox), either by previous disease or vaccination. Female students under the age of 26 are recommended to receive the cervical cancer vaccine, Gardasil. These immunizations are readily available at SHS for a fee. Immunziation forms must be completed prior to your students class registration. Your students immunization record does not automatically transfer from his/her high school or other colleges. You must request a copy of his/her immunization record.
