What should PAC members be told regarding their financial liability for health care services which are not covered by PAC?

When a service is not covered by PAC, providers should clearly explain to the PAC member that they will be responsible for payment of the non-covered service. Providers may use the Statement of Needed Service form which can be found in the MCO’s PAC Provider Manual to document this.
