What should my weekly maintenace include?
Every week, you should replace the water and food and swap sponges. Rinse the old sponge in water, and then let it dry. Once it is completely dry, microwave it for a couple minutes to sterilize it (dont microwave a wet sponge!). You should also spot-clean poo from the tank (looks like tiny brown macaroni). If the sand is fine enough, this can be accomplished easily with a fish net.
