What should my baby wear under the Magic Sleepsuit?
The baby’s body temperature is the best indicator to determine what the baby should wear under the Magic Sleepsuit. We suggest putting your child to bed in whatever makes them comfortable – a onesie, lightweight cotton pajamas, etc. If the baby is too warm, simply remove a layer of clothing. Monitor the baby and if the baby continues to be too warm in the most minimal of clothing, then remove them from the suit and contact us for advice. It is up to the parent or caregiver to monitor the baby in the suit and determine an appropriate room temperature. They are responsible to make sure that the baby does not overheat. Conversely, if the baby is too cold, then simply add a layer of clothing. Please remember that babies have immature circulatory systems, so cool fingers or toes are not a good way to gauge body temperature.
