I think the commissioners office should start implementing Mitchells 20 suggested recommendations. They will need to go back to the bargaining table with the players union to get them to concedes to allow baseball to test more regularly and put more safeguards against steroids in place. This might be a tough sell as Fehr and the players union sounded pretty defiant in their press conference yesterday…”respect the current collective bargaining agreement”…seems like the players union still wants access to their candy. They need to get a test implemented for HGH…players are still using this stuff. At this point it cannot be detected through urine. It can be detected through a blood test. The players union is against blood testing for various reasons. They need to get a urine test or get the union back to the table and negotiate blood testing.
