What should I wear to Swing Dancing?
That depends on whether you’re male or female, whether you’re going to a formal dance or a lesson and whether you’re a beginner dancer or not. Wear something you’re comfortable moving in and don’t mind sweating into. Slippy flat shoes are a help but not a must. If it’s a formal event wear clothes that would have been worn between the 20s and 50s. If it’s just a lesson or ordinary night wear whatever you normally wear. That said, it would be unusual to see someone swing dancing in a tracksuit. Skirts that twirl well can help get girls into the Swing of it.
