I’m so sorry about your grandma! I recommend an updated LBD. Try Saks or Nordstrom. I got a structured black Shoshanna that came in at the waist and was pleated at the bottom for the last funeral I attended, and it was perfect (found it at Nordstrom). Sorry, again, and I hope this helps!

I do not wear black–wear something conservative and not in a bright color—don’t wear shorts or jeans—for a woman, I would wear a nice shirt and pants or skirt is good too. The people who are mourning will only remember that you cared–they will not be interested or care what you have on.
