What should i wear on an p&o cruise arcadia evening meal.?
You will probably find that there are only around 3 formal evenings on your cruise. These will be when the ship is at sea all day. The first and last evenings are always classed as “informal” which means dressing smartly and tidily (no jeans or trainers in the dining room). Each evening you will probably have a newsletter delivered to your cabin giving you information about the degree of formality for the following evening, plus you may find something like an optional “black and white” dress evening. For formal evenings and the Captains cocktail party, it is normal to wear a long skirt or dressy cocktail dress. I find the long black skirt or black “bell bottomed” trousers with a cocktail top works well and you can dress this up or down with jewellery, scarves, etc. There will probably be a small boutique (with reasonably-priced clothes) where you can purchase extras.
