What should I use to remove the deep plug if it gets overtightened?

The deep plug has a slightly tapered thread so that it does not rattle or resonate when in use. Due to temperature variations and depending on how tightly the port was screwed in, it can sometimes be rather stubborn to remove. Should you find your port difficult to remove we suggest using a small angle bracket like the one shown in the picture below. These brackets are roughly 3-4 inches long and 7/8 inches wide. You can get them at any hardware store for about 1$. This bracket will give you plenty of leverage to remove any plug should it get over tightened. Please note: It is not necessary to over tighten the port plug. A quarter or nickel actually works quite nicely and will allow you to tighten the port just enough.
