What should I serve at a dessert reception?
I have only been to one dessert reception but it was AWESOME. They had cakes of all types, pies, cheesecakes, assorted candies, brownies, homemade type candy (think fudge and divinity) lemon square, etc. I think I ate a little of each. They had it set up like a buffet and it was really nice. All of the cakes and pies were pre-cut (still in their shapes, but pre-cut – don’t know how somebody did that without mangling everything) and it was great. EDIT: the buffet was not chaotic. that’s silly. And if they don’t like desserts, don’t eat it.
