If you choose History: You could actually become an archaeologist. They study the past and get to handle and deal with artifacts from it. You could of course become a history teacher for high schoolers. Not the most glorified position in the whole world, but it would allow you wiggle room for creative games and projects to give your students while being able to share your love of history. You could become a scholar on a specific aspect of U.S. history and be a Civil War buff, or even a museum curator (with a little extra training). Now, if you choose political science, you’re going down a different track entirely. Sure some aspects of it deal with history, but honestly most of it deals with the world and the politics of different civilizations and LOTS of philosophy of law and policy making and tax referendums in the United States.
