Why not buy a large wicker basket (around $5) and line it with scraps of festive Christmas material (around $3 per metre). Then buy some eggs, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit, milk, butter, mini marshmallows, 2 cheap mugs, a small packet of tea bags and some hot chocolate (around $15 for the lot if you buy generic brands). Set aside an afternoon and look up Christmas treats on google. Make them some choc chip cookies, fruit muffins, chocolate truffles, white Christmas, rocky road and cinnamon biscuits. Individually wrap these in cellophane or transparent colourful foil wrapping paper, pop in the mugs, tea bags and hot chocolate and wrap the whole lot in extra cellophane and tie with a big festive ribbon. This whole process will take around 3-4 hours cooking time and if you get the family to help you could make it a family gift. Everyone could contribute something and cut down the costs. If left on your own to do this, it will cost between $15-$25 and you
