What should I get for my upcoming new bathroom shower stall – clear or frosted glass?

If your shower looks good, get clear glass. It’s very modern and makes the whole room look bigger. If you want to hide the shower, get frosted but it will cut off the room at the shower’s edge and make the room look smaller and divided.

I like the look of clear, but it is impossible to hide all of your shower items from prying eyes… but then again, I will open your shower curtain and look in there while i am in your bathroom for ‘business’ I will also look in your medicine cabinet.

When I did my bath, I wanted to show off the tile work so went with a clear glass. I also have a view out the window from the shower that I like. It makes the bathroom seem larger. I went with “Starfire” glass, which doesn’t have the green hue at the edges.

Clear is nice and has that very modern look to it. Also of course you can see in and out. But unless you keep a very clean and organized shower stall all the time you may be sorry you didn’t get the frosted glass. I would recommend you visiting a plumbing supply warehouse where they have all the catalogs available (not Home Depot)and you may find one that has etched glass that will give you the best of both worlds. Try Plumbers Supply in Fall River Ma.
