What should I generally expect on eastern WA trails and Forest Service Roads (FSR)?
We have found the most common issues on eastern WA trails are dusty conditions in the late summer months, mud from melting snow pack in the spring, roots, rocks and tight spots in the trees as well as some off-camber situations and extreme hill climbs and decents. Although the aforementioned has the potential to cause problems most are avoided with proper spotting and patience of all involved. Most trails are well used and wide enough to avoid pin striping or scratching of your trucks paint from branches overhanging the trail though sometimes these conditions do exist. Our goal is not to do anything that would cause body damage to our trucks but occasionally it happens anyway and that is just part of off-roading. Every time you take your truck off the pavement you risk damage.
