What should I expect when I request assistance from the ISS Help Desk regarding issues with the technology in a classroom (615-0100)?
A. When calling our help desk, the representative answering your call will first ask all the identifying information about the situation: the building and room number and the professor, GSI, or student’s uniqname. The representative will then inquire about the nature of the problem. They may suggest certain “quick fixes” that may solve the issue without further assistance. If this does not solve the problem and it is an urgent issue requiring immediate attention, the representative will visit the classroom during the class time to attempt a solution.
