What should I eat instead of protein powder?I want six pack and chest muscle.?
First of all, protein from any source does NOT build muscle all by itself! This is a what the marketers of protein powders want you to think, but it’s simply not true. Proteins (among other things) are used by growth hormone to build muscle. Without growth hormone, any excess proteins you eat are simply wasted. They do not store. They get flushed down the toilet. To build muscle, you need to trigger growth hormone. This requires consistently harder workouts that push your muscles beyond their normal capabilities. Only then will you have growth of muscle tissue. To get a visible 6-pack, you need to reduce total body fat percentage below 10% (more likely 8%) for the abdominal muscles to show. This is ALL about diet. Not sit-ups.
