CFLs contain mercury and are hazardous. You may bring unwanted CFLs to any of the City’s household hazardous waste drop-off days. See Hazardous Waste for more information. Or, you can take CFLs to any Home Depot. Home Depot will safely dispose of CFLs free of charge.
