What should I do to prepare for private high school?
Most private high schools I know of have a uniform. Check with the school to see if they have a uniform or a dress code, then wardrobe accordingly. They will probably either give you a supplies list when you enroll, OR the teacher will give you a list on the first day. Take a notebook and a pen and pencil for the first day, if they don’t give you a list at enrollment. Messenger bags are very popular now. Check to see if you should bring your laptop or not the first day. If so, does it fit in the messenger bag? Read a lot during the summer. The best students are those who have read widely, things with hard covers, not just teen magazines. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll be fine.
