What should I do to prepare for my CommLab appointment?
CommLab coaches will be happy to assist you at any stage of your preparation, but the more prepared you are, the more we can help! In order to get feedback on all aspects of your speech, we ask that you come prepared to present*. Don’t forget your ideas, outline, notecards, visual aids (laptop, PowerPoint), or anything else you might need. If you are still in the early stages, please come with specific questions you would like to address during your appointment. *The Comm Skills group discussion assignment will not require the group to give their actual speech. Instead, we will be participating in a group activity, so all you will need is a writing utensil.
