What should i do to help with daily headaches rather than taking asprin everyday?
You say daily headaches! Most people suffer from headaches but having them daily means you have an ongoing causal problem to deal with. Taking aspirin or paracetamol will actually cause you to have more headaches even if they do provide temporary relief. Stress, eye problems, hormonal imbalance, diet, working in offices under bad lighting and stale air (sick building syndrome) are just some factors which cause headaches. I would suggest you stop taking medications and keep a daily diary showing times you get headaches, when they are worse or when you don’t have them. Also keep a record about what you were doing and what you were eating this way you can sometimes see a pattern emerging which may link you to the causes.
Taking advil everyday is not good for you. Taking ANY non-prescribed medication is not good for you. Medicines such as, Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, Excedrin etc. are no good for your liver. Keep taking pain killers and your headaches will be the least of your problems. Did you try a heating pad? I find that it usually works. Or try therapy with a neurologist. Believe it or not they can help you. They’ll just ask you a couple of questions and they can determine why you’re having these headaches all the time. I use to have headaches and migraines, but most of the time migraines, all the time. And migraines are the worst. They only occur on one side of the head and they hurt more. I went to a neurologist and he actually diagnosed me as having what they call CTTH “Chronic Tension Type Headache”. It was due to stress in my life.
