What should I do if the PCguard scan appears to stall?
The PCguard scan can appear to freeze while scanning large files. It can take a long time to scan certain compressed files (often found in games), and PCguard may appear to stall while actually still scanning. It is a good idea to defragment your disk to help speed up PCguard. This will also benefit your PC in general. Instructions on how to do this can be found in your Windows help screens.
