What should I do if the armband for my OtterBox for iPod Shuffle looks like it’s backwards?

Most likely the armband is inside out. This can be resolved by flipping the two “flaps” used to hold the Shuffle so they are no longer inside out. The Shuffle in the armband should be facing away from you (as shown in the photos on our website).
