What should I do if my Flip SlideHD is not charging?
If you have connected your Flip SlideHD to your computer’s high-powered USB port or a Flip Power Adapter and see no activity, you can try resetting your video camera then attempt to charge it again. To reset your video camera: Step 1: Take a pin and insert it in the Reset hole found in the tripod mount of your Flip SlideHD video camera. Step 2: Press and hold down the pin for 5 seconds. Step 3: Remove the pin and hold down the Power button for an additional 5 seconds. Your Flip SlideHD should be able to charge normally after resetting it. NOTE: When the battery is fully discharged, you won’t be able to see any activity on your Flip SlideHD while charging. Once the initial 30 minutes has concluded, there should be some indication that the video camera is already charging. Don’t be alarmed if you do not hear the charging beep sound, the LCD doesn’t activate or if the record light blinks while charging your video camera when the battery is extremely low. This activates the Trickle Charge
