What should I do if my blood sugar is too high after drinking Almased®?
It is very unlikely that your blood sugar will rise after an Almased® shake. However, there can be some incidents where your blood sugar may rise, e.g. if diabetes medication is reduced without talking to your doctor, if Almased® is mixed with fruit juice, and/or fruit is added to the shake. If your blood sugar is too high, check for these incidents. Do not change medication without talking to your doctor. Reduce or cut out fruit if your blood sugar is too high.
