Should your BlackBerry device “lock-up” while receiving captions, exit out of the application (use the menu to exit the caption screen and again to exit the application), then start the application again and try logging back in. If your attempt to log back into the event fails, you will have to reset your BlackBerry by taking the battery out of the device for 30 seconds to reset your BlackBerry.
