What should I do if I start experiencing problems that may be associated with a repetitive motion injury that arises out of the course of my daily job duties?
It is recommended that the employee consider enrolling in the Office Ergonomics class offered through Risk Management. The employee should also consult with the County’s Ergonomic Handbook to see if there are changes that can be made to the workstation. If problems continue after this is done, the employee should contact his/her immediate supervisor ASAP. The supervisor will work with the Department Safety Coordinator to set up an Ergonomic Evaluation.
