1) Try uninstalling the Intel WiFi driver, then reinstalling the latest Intel wifi driver. 2) Contact your laptop vendor for support When trying to connect to an adapter, the Intel(R) Wireless Display software displays “The application has an issue”. Cause: Intel My WiFi Technology may not have correctly initialized its IP address. This happens only on the first connection after a reboot of the PC. Workaround: Close the Intel(R) Wireless Display software. Disable Intel My WiFi by right-clicking on the icon in the task bar notification area. Restart the Intel(R) Wireless Display software. This process may be required after each reboot. To permanently fix this issue, uninstall the Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software from the Windows control panel.
