Students may be unsuccessful in gaining entry into the BDSc program for the following reasons: (i) they did not complete the prerequisite subjects (or their equivalent) at high school; (ii) they did not sit UMAT; (iii) they did not achieve an entry score (called a rank) above the cut-off to be competitive; (iv) they did not achieve an overall UMAT score above the cut-off.
