What should I do if I am on a hunting trip and cannot reactivate my ScentBlocker® suit? How long is my suit active after it has been activated?
When on a long trip where reactivation is impossible, we recommend wearing it when you will be close to animals or in the actual hunting mode. Don’t wear it when you are hiking a long way to get to the hunting area, or wear it casually when not hunting, as in riding in your vehicle. This is your best chance of prolonging the activation of your suit. Also, by treating your undergarments and insulating layers with Scent Shield or similar product, and changing them often, these inner layers will pick up much of your odor. Better yet, bring a spare ScentBlocker® suit!
