What should I do if a mortgage agent does not complete an education course by June 30, 2009?
An individual who does not complete an approved education course by June 30, 2009 will no longer be qualified to work as a mortgage agent. Since you are the principal broker, you are responsible for: • Verifying whether or not the individual has completed an approved mortgage agent course. • Notifying the individual that he/she cannot deal or trade in mortgages on behalf of your brokerage after June 30, 2009, if he/she has not completed a mortgage agent course. • Terminating the individual in Licensing Link.
