As a hauler, it is your responsibility to help educate the generator or end use facility operator on the current CTL requirements. Bookmarks and informational sources are available for distribution to your customers. Please contact the CIWMB waste tire hotline at (866) 896-0600 for this information or to have a TPID number issued immediately. A TPID number can also be requested by calling (866) 896-0600 (toll-free) or via the CIWMB website at: www. calrecycle.ca.gov/Tires/. See Section 3 of this manual for more information on TPID numbers.
