What Should I Do During The Bowenwork/Soft Tissue Therapy Session?

0

During Bowenwork, you will be asked to make yourself as comfortable as possible. If we need to make adjustments with pillows and towels we will. When your body is comfortable, peaceful and resting to start with, the subtleness of ‘processing movements in your body during therapy’ may be more apparent to you. Many people just close their eyes, listen to the nature sounds or silence and completely relax. Some people fall asleep at times during the session as their body begins the unwinding process. Processing is when your body is doing something different then when you were first comfortable and resting on the table – like tensing up then relaxing, fluttering sensations, heat, releases, tingles, aches, etc. These ‘differences’ may come and go during your session and beyond and are signs that your body is responding to Bowenwork. The work speaks for itself. Some people during other soft tissue therapies like to talk. Feel free to ask questions about particular therapy(s) you are receiving
