What should I do about wedding music disagreement?
Hehe – a hint of the married life! Marriage requires good communication and compromise; this seems to be a good exercise. You need to learn how to make yourself heard, and you both need to learn how to meet in the middle without any of the “he won/she won” stuff. I agree that while Bittersweet Symphony is a really pretty song, I wouldn’t want it in my wedding (a little too mournful) – but maybe he really doesn’t want music as stereotypical as you are choosing. I would suggest trying to find something less stereotypical but has a interesting orchestral line similar to the song in question. Perhaps if you make some concessions like that, he’ll be willing to meet you halfway. Good luck!
