Find a new doctor for sure! Your current doctor doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’m assuming you have PCOS since that’s what it sounds like and you aren’t getting the proper treatment. Studies done on metformin have shown that metformin as used to treat PCOS is not effective unless given at dosages between 1500-2500mg per day (I’m on 2000mg per day). After 3-4 months of being on your highest dosage you can start taking Clomid to make you ovulate. I’ve heard of a lot of PCOSers getting pregnant after taking metformin and Clomid in combination. Anywho, get a new doctor that knows about PCOS!
