What should I consider in pricing a cel?
When pricing a cel, the easiest thing is to think about what you paid for it. This is generally a good basis. If you’ve had the cel for a while, you might go around to other for sale sites and see how the cels are priced there. Check to see if they are sold. If they are still sitting on the site it might be because the price is too high for the market. Of course, it might also be that the cel is generally thought of as having such a high value that there are very few buyers coming around who can afford it even if the price is considered okay. Check for recently ended auctions of similar cels as well. Think about the rarity of the character and the series. Think of the quality of the artwork and the condition of the cel. Think about how much you want for it and how much you need to have it sell so you can have the money. Pricing cels isn’t especially easy but it’s not undo-ably hard either.
