What should I consider for the pre-press portion of a large format printing project?
You have two choices available – computer to plate process or conventional film. You can provide a disk that will be used in a computer-to-plate process. If you wish to control the process, you may work through the proofing process and provide a contract proof and a disk ready to rip and make plates. (Due to variations in the digital proofing process, we will need to make a proof calibrated to our printing process to compare with the proof provided. Additional system work may be required to assure the printed product will match your contract proof.) You may also provide a disk and we will prepare it for the CTP process. We will provide a digital proof.
