What should I bring to wear to the Democratic National Convention?
It really depends on where you’ll be and what you’ll be doing. Keeping in mind that it is almost never a problem to be formally dressed, I would suggest the following. 1. If volunteering at the convention but not staffing the super delegate, I would suggest something that can be formal but easily converted to causal (i.e., for a guy, khaki’s and a blazer, with a tie, but knowing full well that the tie can be put in the blazer pocket and and the blazer can be hung up – I am not sure what the equivalent is for women, but if you are one I trust you can handle the conversion) 2. If you’re going to be staffing the superdelegate, then I would suggest some more formal – especially if you will be attending lots of events with the super delegate and its really a business situation.
