What should come first – A persons education (spelling, grammar etc.) -OR- a child?
I am not trying to be mean or obtuse, but what does this question mean???? ———– Edited: Depending on your age and your goals, I think an education should come first. Attaining a degree is difficult enough as it is, but certainly far more difficult when you must divide your time between class and studies and a child. Get the degree, work in your career field a few years and then have kids. That said, I did read a study a few years ago that said, financially, it makes more sense to have your kids as early as possible because it will qualify you for greater financial aid and because the years you miss from your career will be your lower paid years. It also depends on what your aspirations are. I have a friend who knew from an early age that she did not want to attend college and she wanted to be a stay at home mom more than anything. If you are not referring to a college degree but are referring instead to basic education, YES – education should come first. Unless you are in your 3
