What Should Be the Top 10 New Years Resolutions For Voters?
2010 is a big election year. No one can question the importance of these elections considering all that our nation is dealing with. Most New Year’s resolutions are directed at our waistlines or wallets, but we need to make a few personal commitments concerning how we vote this year. I have listed my personal top ten resolutions for voters. • I will not believe any candidate promising “change” or “reform”. We hear this from practically every candidate during elections and buy it every time. When the government does change or reform it ends up costing us more and making the process longer and more complicated. The only real change or reform is when the voters change who is elected. • I will vote against candidates who are professional lawyers whenever I can. In many cases all the candidates on the ballot for a particular office are lawyers. There are simply too many attorneys making laws that their profession benefits from. It is time to stop this outrage and limit the number of lawyers
