What should be my approach while talking to car insurance companies on phone?
Ask them what they have to offer and to explain to you everything that is covered and what is not. See if there is a sample policy online. You don’t have to guarantee anything. If you already have auto insurance, ask how theirs is better. Also, check the companies out with the online BBB or the BBB in the state where they operate. Also, check with your state Attorney General to see if there are any complaints against them. I’ve never bought online but we’ve never actually gotten all the information we probably needed before we bought; however, ours have been established companies with years of experience.
