What should be included in the budget narrative?
It should provide an explanation of: • the basis for estimating the costs of professional personnel salaries, benefits, project staff travel, materials and supplies, consultants and subcontractors, indirect costs, and any projected expenditures; • how the major cost items relate to the proposed activities; • the cost of evaluation; and • a description of in-kind support or funding provided by partners in the project, if applicable.
