What should be done if a case under WVMI CSA review is transferred to another locality?

The child s former locality should provide the new locality with any supporting documentation to assist with the UM process. Assuming the new locality participates in WVMI s CSA review process, it would submit either an initial or an 18-month review depending upon the child s length of stay at the facility. The new locality would follow WVMI s time frames for submission as referenced in question two. If the new locality does not participate, utilization review would be a responsibility of the new locality.
