What should a ten year old girl paint her room like?
It is going to depend on her interests. I just did my grandson’s room in a combination pirate/underwater theme. Everything from about 5 feet down is under the sea. Fish of several different kinds, sand down by the floor in several different levels to look like underwater sand dunes, starfish, an octopus, a sea turtle, one corner even has a treasure chest with gold & jewels spilling out. Above the 5 foot mark is sky, clouds, seagulls & sunshine. I did add an island with sand, grass, trees & a waterfall. My daughter added the pirate ship. We painted for over a week on all of the details, but he loves it. In a couple of years, he may out grow it, but that just means a $25 can of paint. Let her have what she wants, within reason.
