What should a producer do when he sells his business to a new agent?
The Plan is not involved in the transition process. The producer should complete a change of broker letter signed by himself and the new producer listing the new producer’s address, telephone number, and tax identification number and send it to all companies servicing his current Plan business and to all insureds involved.
