A nominee list will be prepared by the League’s Player Agent and provided to the manager, assistant coaches, commissioner, and Board rep in alphabetical order and in conjunction with each player’s age. The selected manager, assistant coaches, commissioner, and a representative from the Board All-Star Committee shall conduct a two-day evaluation of the nominated tournament team players. All nominees and nominees’ parents are required to read and sign the “CCYL Tournament All-Star’s Contract” prior to arrival for tryouts. The tryout will occur over the course of two days and consist of two evaluation practices. Sites and times are to be determined for these practice evaluation periods. The evaluation practices will consist of hitting, fielding ground balls, fielding pop-ups, throwing, running, pitching, catching, overall baseball mechanics, on-field demeanor, situational awareness, knowledge of the game, and attitude.
