PHAs that are unable to access the INS SAVE system to verify a person’s immigration status will be required to manually verify citizenship by submitting Form G-845S, as described in 24 CFR 5.512(d). The instructions for this process are contained in the INS SAVE Program Users Manual. To order a copy, contact your local INS Office.
