What should a person do to become psychologically healthy?
That depends on what the person’s particular issues are and how much these issues affect your normal functioning, everyday life, and those around you. Some issues are minor counseling should help. Sometimes medication combined with counseling will help. But what should try to be avoided is medication only without therapy or medication when it isn’t actually necessary. Medication only offers a temporary fix and causes side effects as well. The first step to take to become psychologically healthy is to go see a counselor they will be able to assess a person’s specific problems and needs. This is also a bit tricky because one must find a counselor who is the right fit for them and make sure it’s not someone looking to make a quick buck. A counselor should not be able to assess a person’s needs and problems in just one or two sessions (but i hear of this happening quite often).
